Technology and Management International, LLC is a minority, woman-owned small defense consulting firm established in 1997. TAMI was certified 8(a) by the US Small Business Administration™ (SBA) in 2003 and successfully graduated the program in 2012. TAMI prides itself in providing reputable defense and civil program contractor services.
Beginnings
The company began operations in 1997 with the United States Navy (USN) at the Lakehurst, NJ Naval Air Station along with Merck Pharmaceutical™, a Fortune 100™ company in Rahway, New Jersey. The company made several significant moves to position itself for its transition. We won several critical contracts in the diverse and "high barrier to entry" business and market sectors with the United States Army (USA), the US Department of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the Department of Homeland Securities (DHS).
Our Path
Every CPARS (Contractor Performance Assessment Rating System) evaluation for TAMI is "outstanding." TAMI has a strong financial position and our company has a DCAA compliant Deltek™ accounting system. TAMI maintains the lastest developments in secure computing platforms and infrastructure. TAMI has adopted the National Institute of Technology (NIST) 800-53 rev.4 Risk Management Framework (RMF). This is the same RMF under which the Department of Defense operates. (D.O.D.
